Blogging 101 Workshop contains all the information you need to get started with blogging.
At the end of each lessons, there are discussion questions. As this is an e-learning program, completion of answering this part is a requirement to earn it.

All participants will share their answers through a blog post and posting the link at our community forums. Every participants who successfully completed the workshop will get a certificate from Mrs Janette Toral, author of “Blogging from Home” and owner of www.digitalfilipino.com .

Lesson # 1: Blogging 101

A blog is like a website but in a journal format, personal in its tone, and arranged according to date. While a traditional website usually has category or sections and formal in its presentation. Blog owners normally post articles or short notes they want to share, personal or otherwise.

Lesson # 2: Blog Set-up

When I was new to blogging, can’t help to just create one on the fly without giving much thought and adjust later on. But now, I prepare the following for easy set-up and registration:
• Blog title or name
• Blog URL
• Description
• Keywords

Lesson # 3: Podcast

A podcast is like a radio program where you can upload/download an audio recording of a conversation or speech. It has an archive allowing listeners to check out past episodes. Listeners can search for new podcasts online and download ones they are interested in. These can be played later on or be transferred to media players such as a mobile phone, mp3 players, and the likes.

Lesson # 4 : Video blogging (Vlog)

Video Blogging, also known as "Vlog", is a type of blogging which takes the form of a video. Entries combine video with supporting text, images, music, etc. Vlog entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts.
